Merci Chloe’s Favorite La Belle Bump Nursing Clothes
By Kaley Decker.
They say the second pregnancy flies by, and I’d have to agree. I’m sitting here at 39 weeks wondering how it’s already time to be packing my hospital bags (I have to admit - I had them packed a couple weeks earlier when I was pregnant with my first daughter.)
One of the things I wish I had done differently after I had my daughter, Chloe, was to splurge on some nursing clothes that didn’t make me look and feel as frumpy as I felt after giving birth. I love that La Belle Bump has already thought about this and offers so many nursing options that will take you from the first few days home with your newborn, to the days you want to get a little spruced up for a Target run, and to the time you’re ready to head back to work.
Here are some of my favorites from La Belle Bump’s nursing collection (most of these work during pregnancy too!). They carry pieces that will carry you from the early days home with a newborn where you’ll want to wear a nursing tank and leggings to the weeks after where you might want to get a little dressed up to the months you’re heading back to work.
EARLY NEWBORN DAYS
For the first few weeks, comfort is key as you’re healing and getting the hang of breastfeeding, but I’m not talking comfort that makes you feel too frumpy. Here are some versatile options that can work as loungewear and transition well into pieces you’ll want to wear out in the world once you’re ready.
MAMA ABOUT TOWN DAYS
Everyone’s ready to venture out in the world at different times -- - whether that be trips to Target, brunch with girlfriends, or your first date night. With my first daughter, it took me a good month to want to go further than our trusty neighborhood loop. Here are some comfortable yet stylish nursing friendly options to make you feel good as you take on the town as a new mama.
OFFICE MAMA DAYS
If you’re headed into the office and still nursing, here are some office and nursing friendly options that make the transitions from nursing to pumping throughout the day easier.
I love that La Belle Bump has so many options to carry you through your postpartum nursing journey, and you don’t have to invest in pieces you only need for a temporary timeframe. I’m excited to have a more exciting postpartum wardrobe this time around and hope these picks have gotten you excited about feeling your best postpartum too.
