5 Mocktail Recipes for Expecting/Nursing Mama

While Dry January may be dwindling down, that doesn’t mean the booze-free fizzy fun recipes are going anywhere!

Whether you are pregnant, nursing, or simply looking to cut alcohol from your diet, we’ve got you covered! 

Below are some of our favorite non-alcoholic favorites over here at La Belle Bump. These delicious, alcohol-free mocktail recipes are sure to treat your taste buds:

Mimosa Mocktail


- Orange juice (we like hand squeezed and pulp-free)

- Ginger Ale

- Orange slice for garnish (optional)

How to make it:

This one is pretty simple! In your favorite champagne glass, first pour 1-2 ounces of orange juice and top off the remainder with ginger ale and garnish if you’d like! Simply delicious!

Booze-Free Bloody Mary



- 6 oz tomato juice

- Ice cubes

- Red pepper flakes, to taste

- Tobasco, to taste

- Black pepper, to taste

- Fresh-squeezed lime juice

- Kosher salt

- Any garnishes you would like (celery stalks, green olives, lime wedges, bacon, you name it)!

How to make it:

Squeeze a lime onto a small plate, and pour Kosher salt onto another small plate. Dip a tall glass rim into the lime juice. After dipping the rum into the lime juice, dip the rim in the Kosher salt. Then in a shaker, combine ingredients 1-5 and shake. Pour over ice and garnish however you’d like. Talk about the best brunch beverage ever!

Totally Unintoxicated Tom Collins


- 2 oz non-alcoholic gin substitute (Ritual, Fluere or Lyre’s brands are great)

- 1 oz squeezed lemon juice

- 1 oz simple syrup

- 3 oz club soda

- Ice

- Lemon slice for garnish if you would like

How to make it:

First, pour the gin substitute, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice; shake. Then pour into a tall glass and top it all off with club soda and garnish the rim with a lemon if you so choose! Yum!

Sober Sangria


- 1 sliced lemon

- 1 sliced orange

- 1 sliced lime

- 1 sliced and cored apple

- 3 cups grape juice

- ¾ cup orange juice

- ¾ cup apple juice

- 1 ½ tbs lemon juice

- 2 cups sparkling water

- Optional: blueberries, raspberries and/or blackberries

How to make it:

Cut all fruit and place in a pitcher, then add the fruit juices and gently stir. Refrigerate for preferably 4-5 hours (one hour is okay if you’re in a time crunch). Right before serving, pour in the soda water. So refreshing!

Non-Alcoholic Negroni

- 1 oz Ritual non-alcoholic gin alternative
- 1 1/2 ounces Lyre’s Apéritif Rosso
- 1 1/2 ounces Ghia Apéritif
- Ice
- Orange peel if desired (garnish)

How to make it:
Add your non-alcoholic gin alternative and aperitifs into a shaker or glass, and stir until chilled. Then pour over ice in a short glass and serve.
