Which pregnancy is this?

Number 3

Did you always want this number of children?

I think I'd still like more: we'll see what blessings come my way!

Did you find out the gender?

Yes! I have two boys and was very hopeful this would be a girl. And she is. We're delighted!

How did you tell your husband you were pregnant?

We are kind of an in-it-together couple, so he was right there when I took the test and found out myself.

Any cravings this pregnancy?

Yes: I'm super into cupcakes. Just totally loving them for some reason. Great for my mental well-being! Not great for my weight gain!

What’s different about this pregnancy?

It's a bit different just having two little ones running around while I'm pregnant. They keep me very busy.

What surprises you about this pregnancy?

I've been surprised by how much harder working out has been this pregnancy.  Maybe it's because I'm a bit older; maybe it's because it's my third pregnancy, but I get tired really quickly.

What are your hopes for this child?

I hope she grows up knowing she can do anything, knowing that girls can do anything, but also knowing that things are harder for us, that injustice is real. I hope she grows up to help fight for justice, in whatever role she decides to tackle.

Did you have a “must have” product during this pregnancy?

I am pretty into Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream for Stretch Marks.  It's not perfect at removing them (but then again nothing is!) but this pregnancy I've been finding that my belly gets pretty itchy, and this cream does a great job of relieving that. Plus it smells great!

Finally, what’s one piece of advice you would give other pregnant women?

It's ok to do little things (and even big ones) for yourself. You are amazing. I strongly recommend a good prenatal massage. There's really nothing like it.
